31 index cards later my Xmas Daily is all done. To some I added some spray mist, some some stamps etc. The papers were all from the Random Crate range. Just realised I need to make a cover index card so will do that in a minute.
The layout below is one I did a couple of weeks ago after seeing a similar one on someones blog who i’ve forgotten who it was. I made the pink circles by spraying mist paint through a toilet roll tube, perfect circles!! (not my idea!).
Its that time of year again when all crafters/scrappers are planning their December/Xmas planners/journals/albums etc. I’ve decided to do something a little bit different this year as I’ve found that now my kids are teenagers and we don’t have visits to Santa or Grottos any more that Xmas is a quietier affair activities wise. So i’ve decided to do a ‘December Daily’ taking a photo every day during the month of December. I’ve gone with 6×4 index cards and embellished one corner of the card and used stamps and paints to decorate the front leaving room for journalling. The photo will be glued on the back. The photo below shows all the punch outs that I did , I’ll be back later with some of the finished cards. I’ve got one of the 7Gypsies Library Card Drawers that I will use to put them in.

A day at home today catching up on housework and washing and of course some crafting! This layout is a 8.5×11 size and I got to use my new A4 cloud stencil which I love and some turquoise spray paint. Papers are from Studio Calico. I also made a quick and easy blank paper notebook using some papers from AmericanCrafts.
Yesterday was my 49th birthday, only one year to the big 50th so have a year to plan something special I think!! This birthday we went out for a lovely meal to the new AskItalian restaurant in Norwich and the food was lovely. Yesterday I went into the city with Mum and had my hair done and then we had lunch in Pizza Hut and visited a few shops ending with Kim and I eating popcorn and Galaxy while watching the last episode of Downton Abbey!
